Online Meditations
If you have enjoyed meditating together with other peopl, but can't make the lunchtime drop-ins (or can't make it to Brighton in the morning) I often go to both of these online meditation sessions via Zoom (free, by donation):
thebuddhistcentre.com - Monday to Saturday 7.30am to 8.10am
Worthing Buddhist Group Early Morning Mediations - Wednesdays and Fridays 7am to 7.50am and then 8am to 8.30am, but join any time.
Note though that these sessions are unled - just a bell at the start and a bell at the end, so it's up to you to choose which practice you want to do and to keep an eye on the time!

Mindfulness of Breathing explained
Mindfulness of Breathing led through
... and in case you think this might help... by one of my teachers and my Preceptor (the man who gave me my name!)... Who Hates the Metta Bhavana series - Jnanavaca
Books I referred to on the course:
Change Your Mind: A Practical Guide to Buddhist Meditation - Paramananda
A Monk's Guide to Happiness: Meditation in the 21st century - Gelong Thubten
The Breath - Vessantara (the Magician's Apprentice story, page 36 I think!)
Buddhist Meditation: Tranquillity, Imagination and Insight - Kamalashila (much more about the hindrances, antidotes, Bramah Viharas etc)
Meditation Bells
Bells for Meditation - 4 Stages (Mindfulness of Breathing) - then choose how long you want to sit for in total
Bells for Meditation - 5 Stages (Metta Bhavana) - then choose how long you want to sit for in total
Insight Timer App - but don't pay for it, stick to the free version... and probably don't go following too many weird and wonderful guided things and talks - keep it simple!
NEW Phone App
I'd really recommend this free app from the London Buddhist Centre, which includes customizable meditation bells for both practices...

Retreats
We hold a couple of Sangha (community) retreats each year at Rivendell Retreat Centre, aimed at experienced meditators in our Sangha, or at least those who know the two practices well enough to be able to meditate with just the bells rung (no guidance) The next one is, I believe in February 2027.
In the meantime do have a look at the Introductory Meditation retreats that Rivendell run themselves (weekends, near Uckfield)...
Rivendell Introductory Meditation retreats
...and at otheTriratna retreat centres in the UK (and further afield)...
...and please get back in touch with me, if you need to, Shuddhadhara at... [email protected] or 01273 772090 - be lovely to see you again!
